Pharmacy Technician Education
 
Our Pharmacy Technician Diploma program offers an innovative curriculum designed to enhance the interpersonal and communication skills sought by today's pharmacists. What You'll Learn 

A pharmacy technician has many duties, all of which are designed to assist the pharmacist. Thus, at Kaplan College, you will learn to perform a broad range of daily activities such as:

• Transcribing physicians' orders
• Pricing and filling prescriptions
• Preparing unit dose medications, IV admixtures, and sterile irrigations
• Selecting, dispensing, refilling, and labeling medications
• Handling and processing insurance claim forms
• Maintaining patient profiles
• Assisting with quality management and security measures
