Medical Assistant Program
At Kaplan College, the Medical Assistant Certificate program offers you the opportunity to become a competent, professional, multi-skilled practitioner for today's interactive health care team. Upon graduation, you can provide flexibility to the medical staff by exhibiting a broad range of administrative, laboratory, and clinical skills. If you become interested in an associate's degree while you are in this program, you can transfer into Kaplan College's Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assistant program.
Career Opportunities
This program is designed to lead to entry-level employment in the medical assistant field or to jobs in related fields. Upon successful completion of the program, you may qualify to perform duties under the direction of a physician in private or group practices, clinics, ambulatory care settings, blood banks, nursing homes, and other medical facilities.
